HEALTHCARE CALIFORNIA SUPPORTS NATIONAL HOME CARE AIDE WEEK

HealthCare California is recognizing the second week of November as Home Care Aide Week by paying tribute to the countless aides providing high quality home health, home care and hospice service around the country.

Home care aides fill an important role in the home health care field providing assistance with patients' daily activities.  These activities can range from grooming, bathing, medication reminders and companionship.

In commenting on the Home Care Aide Week, Devin S. Nugent, Chief Operating Officer of HealthCare California, stated:
