HEALTHCARE CALIFORNIA QUALIFIES AS BCPI PARTICIPATING HOME HEALTH PROVIDER
HealthCare California has qualified as a Participating Provider under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Bundled Care Payments for Improvement (BCPI) initiative. The objective of the initiative is a higher quality and more coordinated care at a lower overall cost to Medicare. Currently, two central valley hospitals have been approved as Convener Organizations.
In commenting on this qualification, Devin S. Nugent, Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare California, stated:
HealthCare California is proud to have been invited into this elite group of post-acute healthcare providers who are partnering with our local hospitals to deliver the highest level of post-acute care. Our team has worked diligently in recent years to maintain one of the lowest hospital readmission rates in California. Our participation in the BCPI network is further evidence exceptional services provided by the HealthCare California team of professionals continue to be recognized.
