FRESNO ENTREPRENEUR INVITED TO PRESENT SEMINARS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MACAU
Dr. Harry G. Harris, President of HealthCare California, a Fresno-based health care company, has been invited by the University of Macau to lead a series of seminars on entrepreneurship and networking in early February. The invitation was extended by Dr. Chuan Sheng Liu, Professor and Master of the University's Chao Kuang Piu College.
At the invitation of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Harris will present a lecture on February 3rd during the University's annual Business Week program titled "Entrepreneurial Empowerment: Essential Keys to Leadership and Success.
During his visit, Dr. Harris will meet with students and faculty to discuss his experiences of being an entrepreneur, creating a health care business and ongoing challenges faced by individuals aspiring to pursue new ventures. Dr. Harris' extensive professional career in government, academia and the private sector provides opportunities for attendees to learn real world skills and practices of the global community.
After his Macau visit, Dr. Harris will travel to Hong Kong and China to meet with interested parties seeking to explore entrepreneurial proposals and programs in the health care industry.
The University of Macau was founded in 1981. Through over thirty years of development, it has become the leading and only public comprehensive university in Macau. The University has gained international recognition of its excellence in teaching, research and community service. It offers over 130 bachelor, master and Ph.D. programs conducted mainly in English. The University recently launched a new strategy for enhancing global affairs by seeking to build meaningful and sustainable relationships with other leading global academic institutions. In 2014, the University moved to a newly built two-billion dollar campus located on Hengqin Island in Zhuhai, Guangdong province within the People's Republic of China.
